Meet the Director Team

Virginia McGuire

Virginia McGuire is ecstatic to be the director of theatre at Rockwall High School! She is starting her 9th year in education and 9th year in Rockwall ISD. Mrs. McGuire was the 2022 Rockwall ISD Secondary Teacher of the Year. Mrs. McGuire is a proud graduate of Texas Tech University where she earned a bachelor of art in theatre and received her certification in secondary education through the renowned Techteach program. Mrs. McGuire has grown up around the arts her entire life and truly has a passion for instilling a love of theatre in each of her students. When not at a rehearsal or in the classroom, you can find Mrs. McGuire spending time with her husband, Patrick, baby Marshall Wade, and their three kitties: Rudy, Olive, and Ducky.

Head Director

MATT PELLETIER

Matt Pelletier is excited to be the Technical Director at Rockwall High School! He is starting his 3rd year in teaching and 3rd year in Rockwall ISD. Mr. Pelletier is a graduate of the University of North Texas where he earned his degree in Theatre Education and began his route for becoming a Technical Director. Mr. Pelletier is thrilled to have the opportunity to pour into the department that instilled a passion for theatre in him! When not in rehearsal, in the classroom, or in the scene shop, you can find Mr. Pelletier spending time with his wonderful wife and their amazing baby.

PLANS FOR THE YEAR: To promote an environment where students learn to work safely, solve problems, and be creative.

Technical Director

Chloe BONNEAU

Assistant Director (ROCK 9)

Mrs. Bonneau is so excited for her second year as the Assistant Director at Rockwall High School, and Head Director at Rock 9. Mrs. Bonneau grew up in Grapevine, TX and has been involved in Theatre since she was in 3rd grade! She discovered her love of teaching Theatre in High School. She is a graduate from Abilene Christian University, with her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Education! Last school year, as a first year teacher, Mrs. Bonneau was awarded the BEST Teacher of the Year Award for her home campus, Rock 9. She cannot wait to continue sharing her love for the powerful art of storytelling with her students!! When not at school, you can find Mrs. Bonneau thrifting, playing an instrument, at Half Price Books, and spending time with her husband, Jake, and their dog, Josie.
